Today we worked on learning and memorizing the Articles of Faith. Our main focus was the 13th Article of Faith. We learned a few activities ago that the girls LOVE scavenger/treasure hunts. So, that's what we did. The girls were so eager to find the next clue that sometimes they didn't listen to the entire clue and set out running the wrong direction. Together, they filled in blanks of the 13th Article of Faith and then memorized it. I was impressed because two of the girls really stuck with it. They didn't' think they could do it at first, but they worked together and got it. We are officially keeping track of the memorized Articles of Faith since that is one of the Faith in God requirements. The girls passed off other articles that they knew. Each month we will work on memorizing an Article of Faith. The number we work on will correspond with the month number - for example, in March (the third month) we will work on the 3rd Article of Faith.
